Facebook Q&A: Do I need a certain dishwasher detergent?
We got a great question on the Kinetico San Antonio Facebook page this week. Michael asked if we recommend a certain type of dishwasher detergent to go along with his Kinetico water softener.
The short answer is no. We don’t recommend any certain brand of detergent. But it’s important to remember that you don’t need to use as much detergent if you have a Kinetico system in your home. In fact, you can use about 50% less detergent than you would without a Kinetico system. So that may provide some justification for spending a little more on higher-quality detergent, knowing that it will last you twice as long.
