Mission Trip to Uganda

Helping Others in Uganda
One of life’s biggest blessings is being able to help others. Kinetico San Antonio owner Chris Knippa can testify to the validity of that saying after returning from a mission trip to a Ugandan children’s village.
Knippa was part of a group of volunteers from St. John Lutheran Church in Boerne and Uganda Tree of Life Ministries that traveled to the Bulabandi Children’s Village July 1-15. There, the volunteers installed a solar-powered water well and water retention tank, which will provide running water to the village. That means the children there will be able to take a shower for the first time in their lives! In addition, they also installed a UV water purification system, which will mean clean drinking water for the kids and the surrounding community.

Uganda Tree of Life plans to return to Uganda for two more missions later this year – one in September and again in October. For more information, visit UTOLM.org.

We're very glad we got this installed. The technician, Alberto, was very polite and thoroughly explained what he was doing and what we would need to do.

Alberto kept me informed on his arrival time. He was professional and exceeded my expectations concerning the install of the water filtration system. I also need to put a plug in for Tracy for her patience and skills at making things happen behind the scenes...a true unsung hero. They both deserve a raise!

I just had my system installed by Alberto and Jay, and I wanted to say that they rocked. Got it all in and gave me some instructions to follow, all while being determined to detail and professional. Thanks, fellas.
