Helping Tornado Victims in Oklahoma

A group of volunteers from St. John Lutheran Church of Boerne, including Kinetico San Antonio owner Chris Knippa, recently returned from a trip to help the tornado victims in Oklahoma. The group helped cook meals for more than 200 people a day for three days, cleared debris from destroyed homes and took some of the victims shopping at Wal-Mart and Target.

“It was one of those situations where we didn’t know quite what we were going to do until we got there,” said Knippa. “But God put us in the right place to make an impact.”
